Work Done

1 - All work undertaken will be discussed and agreed prior to the start date and all work will be completed by Bell Garden unless otherwise agreed.
2 - If I am unable to work on the day agreed, I will contact you as soon as I know with an alternative date
3 - Arrival times are estimates, and I may run up to 15 minutes late. If it is going to be later than that, I will tell you asap.
4 - If I arrive X minutes late, I will leave X minutes late.
5 - The estimate/original price for work includes all labour and green waste disposal if required.
6 - Any addition and/or alterations to the contract shall be properly treated as variations and subject to written instructions and additional payments may be required to cover the agreed changes.

Customer Responsibilities

7 - The client shall provide access to site at all times during the works progress and during working hours. Working hours are typically 9am-5pm.
8 - Bell Gardens is not able to accept responsibility for any damage to (or cost involved with)
any underground hazards, obstructions or services not made known in writing or apparent on visual inspection.
9 - It is very important and the sole responsibility of the Client to ensure we are made aware of any special/statutory bylaws/conditions/permissions that may be involved.
10 - The removal of dog excrement or large amounts of litter from the site is the responsibility of the client.


11 - Severe weather conditions, including drought, may cause the delay of visits but this will not affect the original, agreed price.


12 - Bell Gardens will provide invoices and receipts of payment upon request, either immediately using a receipt book, or within 7 days as a .pdf via email
13 - The client will be responsible for all payments to Bell Gardens
14 - I understand and will exercise my statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if I am not paid according to agreed credit terms.
15 - Payment is due from date of invoice. Preferred payment method is cash, but I will also accept BACS (Internet bank transfer) or cheque.
16 - Cancellation of an appointment on the same day that I am due to arrive will incur a charge not less than half of the full price of the intended visit, plus any material costs


17 - Bell Gardens is registered as a lower tier waste carrier. Our registration number is CB/DL63606
18 - The term waste removal refers only to green waste produced by Bell Gardens. This includes leaves, grass clippings and small twigs/branches, but not logs, soil or hardcore.
19 - Bell Gardens will take one tonne bag (by volume) of green materials included as part of the price of the visit. Further waste removal will be done at an agreed cost at the end of completed work.
